Question What Can a Child Do About Verbal Abuse

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: washington

Okay so I am 13, my grandma has custody of me. She is verbally abusive. I am kind of depressed, because she puts me down and is very mean. She has in the past blamed me for her anger. My mom lives with us. I have been trying to go to my Dad's house for a while but my Grandma isn't letting me leave. I am unable to tell the court what is going on so they don't know. My dad is married and has a job and a house so he is fit to have custody. my mom wants to have joint with him.

So basically i live in an emotionally abusive home and dont know how to get out of here, please help me by giving advice or by telling me what i can do.

YOU cannot do anything at all. Any "doing" would have to be done by your parents.

Before we go any further down that road, why does your grandmother have custody and not your parents?

speak to a counselor at your school about what is going on in your home.
