My question involves criminal law for the state of: Minnesota
Hi there,
I am just getting off work as a server at a restaurant in Minnesota and I am concerned that I failed an alcohol sting during my shift tonight. I had a table order two beers, in bottles, and although I looked closely at one woman, she was clearly over 40, it was not until I had set the beer down that I realized the other woman should have been carded. I know this is a stupid, stupid mistake and I am incredibly embarrassed.
What I want to know is if it was an alcohol sting would I have been arrested instantly? Or is it possible the arrest will come in the following days? I am not sure how these things are usually done. If anyone could enlighten me on wether or not alcohol stings results in arrests right away or if they usually take a couple days to process I would be forever grateful.
Thank you.
