Default Mistreatment of an Adopted Child

My question involves adoption law for the State of: Pennsylvania.

My soon to be 16 year old daughter is being forced to move to Tennessee, by her grandmother who adopted her. now my daughter complains that her grand mother treats her like a paycheck and not her child. Her father lives in the house hold and is never around and when he is she (my daughter) claims all he does is yell at her to do the clothes wash the dishes clean everyone rooms so on and so on. My daughter says her grandmother slaps her around and when my daughter called Child Protective Services they did not do anything. I in fact was on the phone with my daughter on May 15th of this year and heard her grandmother call her a fat ass little bitch, pardon my french. Now the last time i checked that is not how you talk to any child even ones with weight problems like my daughter. So i guess my question would be is here anything i can do legally, for her even though i have no rights anymore, and if not is there something my daughter can do?

There is no law prohibiting someone from using vulgar language to a child. I may not approve of it and you may not, but there is nothing anyone is going to do legally over name-calling.

If you believe a child is being abused or neglected, you can report the mistreatment to protective services.

I guess my actual question was is there anything my daughter or I could do to keep her from moving to Tennessee?

If Granny adopted Princess, then Princess will be moving with her. You have as many rights to Princess as I do (if your & Dad's rights were well and truly terminated by the state).
