My question involves business law in the state of: New York

Hello,

I am the owner of an online business which sold securities, we were quite profitable until a flaw in the website was exploited and the business crashed. I have previously secured a loan and signed a contract with a person who has demanded a ransom or else he would reveal personal details about me to the investors which is otherwise not available to them, personal details such as address, personal phone number, bank accounts etc etc. Once I didn't pay the person that loaned me the funds all my personal information was revealed and I was contentiously harassed, threatened, had drugs shipped to my apartment and reported to the police as means of revenge as well as had lawyers calling me on multiple occasions on my private number, due to the non-stopping harassment I had to change my phone number and move to a different address.

I have never under-estimated the risks of investing into a highly profitable, high risk online business but that's not the point. What laws did the person that loaned me the funds and revealed my personal information break?

Best regards.
