Default Proof of Service for Unknown Occupants

My question involves an eviction in the state of: California.

I had a registered process server personally serve the tenants and all additional adults living on the premises. My question is how the POS-010 (proof of service of summons) should be filled out. It was clear that the process server did not do it correctly (is there any training or test to become registered?). I pointed out a couple issues, but feel there may be more. I would rather have her correct prior to filing.

For the unknown occupants, should there be a POS-010 for each, or one that states "unknown occupants" as the names are not known. Or should one be filled out listing Jane or John Doe 1-4? If that is the case, should a physical description be included for each? Where? (Or, do we need to go back and get there names?) Are there any on-line examples of how this form should be filled out for unknown occupants?

Can I file the POS-010's now, or do I need to wait 10 days for the unknown occupants? (I found mention somewhere that I need to wait, but I don't know why that would be. I would rather submit and hope the clerk will let me know if there are any problems).
