Default Can You Fight a Ticket Over a Mistake in Your Name

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington

I received a speeding ticket. The officer said I was going 73 in a 60 zone, but he knocked it down to 65 in a 60 zone. After I got home I noticed the ticket shows My name as
Last: Sousa, Middle: Jose De, when it should be- Last : De Sousa Middle: Jose. He also got the year and model of my vehicle completely wrong. Is this enough to fight the ticket?

    Thanks in advance

If that is your real name, I would recommend that you edit your post to use a fake name.

I think it's probably not his full name any more than FlyingRon is mine.

I was referring to what he wrote as the name on the ticket. I hope it's fake but we all know that people sometimes slip up and put their real information out there.

First -- what do you mean your name is not FlyingRon? I'm crushed.

Second -- yep, I agree -- people who use their real names on the internet are really stupid.

No, you can't. As soon as it's brought up, the officer will be correcting the ticket (and what's on the TICKET isn't what's important...it's what's in the COURT's record).
