Default What Can a Court Order in a Divorce

My question involves a marriage in the state of: California

Specifically, are there any published family law cases in which a court ordered either (1) the community or a spouse to sign off on a loan, or (2) the parties' to sell their vacation home? (due to living above their means). Searching online but if anyone is aware of any specific cases, please share.

Default Re: What Can a Court Order in a Divorce

Most divorces are settled, and virtually nobody is going to attempt to litigate a court's order to sell a home that they can't afford to keep -- what would be the point of spending thousands of dollars on an appeal that would at best result in the house being foreclosed instead of sold.

I'm not sure where you're trying to go with "the community or a spouse to sign off on a loan".
