Default How Can I Get Rid of My Roommate

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: VA. I just moved into my own place on the first of the month and found out living on your own is expensive. About 2 weeks in I got a room mate and soon learned I'm not a room mate compatible person.

He aggravates me with everything he does, he acts like he own the place and seems to have staked a claim on my dogs.

He's only been here 2 weeks and i want him gone! There is no written contract or agreement of any kind. He pays half the bills but they're all in my name, and I'm buying the house in 2 years (as per agreement with the landlord)

My question is what do i have to do to get him out before things get ugly?
