What if the consent age is 16 in the state

The state does not give two hoots who hangs out with who at the mall, or goes to school events, or goes out to dinner together, or whatever passes as dating for kids these days. The state does give a hoot when it comes to sexual activity with minors.

The age of consent represents the date at which the state will not throw someone in jail for having sex with a minor. However, that does not even remotely mean that they're home free as there are other, non-sex related legal problems the 20 year old could find himself in.

And if you're looking for someone here to give an adult permission to have sex with a minor, it isn't going to happen.
