    Default Car Loan is Described As Late Even After Sending in a Check to Catch Up Payments

    My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Michigan

    Good evening,

    A car loan company does not cash a check for an account that is past due to bring it up to date? Even if the funds are available being from a trust? And now said company are blowing up my credit due to said payment not being made? Thanks in advance. Check issued 5/25/2014 it is now 6/10/2014. Called today by said company saying payments were never made etc even through the check was issued and sent. Thanks in advance

    but was it received?

    If you claim it was, what proof do you have it was?

    what is the loan company saying when you say;

    I mailed the check on 5/25. You should have it by now.

    the check was mailed by my trust they have records of when it was sent and when it was cashed, just like previous payments made. The same payment amount by the same person every month is received and cashed. They said the last payment received was 2 months ago.

    then what is the issue? If you have proof it was cashed, tell the collector that and then tell them to get lost.

    and to this:

    And now said company are blowing up my credit due to said payment not being made?
    ???? you admit to it being delinquent. If they report that, that is going to remain whether you pay the delinquent payments or not.

    but as to this latest payment; unlikely it would even have be seen on your CR yet. If may not show until next month even depending on when the lender reports.

    The issue is they are not cashing the check which in turn is leaving the balance outstanding
