My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: North Dakota
City: Jamestown

Everything is so hard right now! I need help, am so frustrated at everything. Please help!

Right now, I paid the judgment, but landlord won't file a satisfaction of judgment, even after me giving her the letter to go sign, and I filled it all out for her.

I moved out, she wanted $1200, I told her I didn't owe her that much. 2 years after fighting this, she brought me to collections, I told her I only owed her and the collection company around $100

Once court ended, I only owed $111.67. That is pretty close to what I thought I should owe. (Rather than her $1200, would you say)

So I paid it after court.
Now it has been 40 days, and she wont file the judgment. She got very mad after court, telling yelling at me to pay the collection company and not her. (I have proof it is paid)
I talked to the court, and they said, she has to file it. I can not do anything and have no course of action, until she files the "Satisfaction of Judgment"
She was trying to get me to replace old appliances because they were too old. Sad day for her!

This has prevented me from obtaining a 3 bedroom apartment, that I need desperately. Now a judgement is on my credit report!!! And will only showed as paid.
Would this not of been on my credit report, if this was filed in a timely manner? Doesn't law say she has to file it in so many days, and if so, what is the fine for her not filing?

If I can sue, I will give a % of whoever helps me with this.

What do I do? Can someone help me make forms for this, or?

I also filed a dispute with all three credit burea and they reflected it now as paid in full $1000+ not the $111.67
I am just so fed up with everyone trying to screw me.

Thanks
