My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: CALIFORNIA

First a few important things:
I am RENTING and manager now is threatening to evict me because they found out I have people staying with me.
"Roommates" are NOT on lease or any rental agreement

I will try to make this simple. I let my cousin, her boyfriend, and child stay with me for what was originally agreed upon as two weeks. The two weeks pass, and all of a sudden their unemployment runs out and are unable to find anywhere to move to. (Im sure it was the plan to begin with) So, being the good-hearted cousin that I am, I accepted it and was going to just see how long it took for them to go elsewhere (they were talking about moving with family out of town). They stay for the rest of the month and then one Saturday morning in the very beginning of month TWO they get into a huge argument, loud enough for the neighbors to hear and they complained to the office. Monday morning I had a 60 day notice on my door for having them live with me and disturbing neighbors. I told them (via text - any agreement we've had of any kind has been through text) I cannot lose my apartment because of them and they needed to be gone by the end of the month. They agreed (via text). The last day of the month is now tomorrow and theyre saying they cant leave for another "few days" - no money, blah blah blah. My manager took back the original 60 day notice because i said they would leave soon, but is threatening me with another if they arent gone tomorrow or next day. I know that if I call the police, theyll just say wheres the 30 day notice & cant make them leave.

Well heres a few questions I have

1. When does somebody legally switch from a guest to tenant or roommate?

2. Can text messages be used to "prove" any kind of rent agreement if I have to involve the police? Im at the point where they are now unwanted guests trespassing.
Theyve overstayed their welcome & refuse to leave. Neither of us have any written agreements or any proof of rent being paid besides texts.

3. What can the police do if it is determined they ARE unwanted guests trespassing? How soon can they make them leave?

4. If texts CAN be used, can I show the police her agreement to my text asking them to be out at the end of the month.

I feel stuck in my own house. It was me and my four year old son until they came and now I might be kicked out because of them after I open my home to them. My house is filthy, loud, and my peace of mind has gone out the window. I was betrayed.
I messed up by going this route and not letting manager know about them - I know. I need to know what my best decision would be. If the texts cant be used I plan on saying they've been here without paying rent and was originally supposed to be a guest for two weeks who are now practically taunting me in my own apartment. I want to use trespassing somehow. Please help with anything.
