Default Im a Ward of the State, but I'm Pregnant and Want to Move Out

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Arizona

I'm 16 (17 in a month) and pregnant. My boyfriend is older then 18 but I won't give his age on here for personal reasons. We live in Arizona. I am a ward of state living with my grandparents who have full custody. I want to move in with my boyfriend and his family, but not sure of the legal ways to do this. My grandparents are supportive of my decision, (they don't want to raise another infant and want me to get out on my own) but being a ward of the state I was told I could not be emancipated. Was wondering what was possible to do in order to move out or stay in another home without any legal trouble? Some help would be appreciated.

You're a ward of the state and to be honest, a pregnant 16 year old needs more adult supervision...not less.

(And by "adult" I don't mean your boyfriend).

Outside of that if you think you're a grown-up, you can surely figure out how it works.

(hint: the answer isn't "yes you can")

Like the fact he has committed a felony if he is the baby's dad? Even if he were only 18, he's still guilty of a felony.

Why, nothing. There is nothing it is possible to move out or stay in another home without any legal trouble. In fact, you cannot move out or stay in another home without any legal trouble.

It is wise of you to refrain from giving your boyfriend's actual age, since a quick review of the statutes in Arizona means that he has almost certainly committed a crime by having sex with you. Not definitely, but given the information you have provided, the odds definitely favor his behavior being criminal. This only emphasizes the impossibility of your moving out to live with him or his family. The state is CERTAINLY not going to sanction additional criminal behavior.
