Default Re: Can Lender Revive a Debt from 19 Years Ago

If you read my post carefully, there is no need for them to hold a gun and threaten to kill me. They already hold all the winning cards in their hands.

My life was not threatened so need to call the police. Besides the law protects them, not us.

I don’t’ think you are a responsible person. Just a brainwashed apologist for the banks and finance companies who oppress the common people.

Perhaps one day you will defend the have nots.

Dogmatique, when I need to look at stupidity, I just need to read your posts.

By the way, which finance company, collection agency do you or did you folks work for. You’ve certainly internalized their values. Amazing the speed with which you respond to my posts and defend each other and your financial institutions

And once again, you get yourself involved in something and you STILL haven't learned to read. The Terms of Service that you agreed to when joining this site tells you exactly where the people on this board come from but you just went along clicking on stuff, creating user IDs and passwords without reading something. A sign that you weren't responsible years ago and you're still not responsible today.

Apparently you weren't aware, so I'm going to do you a favor and tell you now. Anytime someone tries to sell you something (a car, a house, a pencil) and you don't understand what you're signing, don't sign it. You have the right to put your money back in your pocket and leave.

Granted, by the looks of it, your credit is shot so there's no need to give you advice on how to purchase a home.

I said that I’m not a lawyer and, therefore, I could not understand many of the details that was on the agreement. I needed a microscope to see some of the details listed on the form.

This happens often to common people and goes to show the flaws in the SYSTEM which is controlled by the rich given the uneven powers that exist between the average consumer and the powerful finance companies and the fact that consumers often have no choice but to enter agreements that are totally unfavorable to them.

Dogmatique, you sound very dogmatic. You should loosen up a bit and try to understand the perspective of the have nots.

By the way, is this site run by Finance companies and collection agencies? I ask only because of the speed with which you responded - within a minute - to my post.
Oh honey, if you only knew.

Ever lived via food pantries & your partner's weekly trips to sell plasma? No? Then hush.

As for my response time...well, I have a puppy snoozing, a husband shopping and all the time in the world to check in to see who is asking for handouts, and who is complaining about being penalized for something they've done all by their little selves.

    How 'bout you?

Also, it's not football season yet.

Hmm. My "financial institution" is the credit union to where my husband's wages are sent every two weeks. Would you for me to have him create an account here too, just to say "Hi! I'm one of America's working class!" ? I'm sure he wouldn't mind.
