My question involves criminal law for the state of: Idaho and Texas
A friend of mine is currently on probation in Texas. Her husband and she had to move to Idaho for a variety of reasons and she got permission from the judge to go back and forth, so long as she complies with her court dates and the monthly appts with her probation officer. She got a phone call from the bail bondsman that has her bond on other pending court issues saying that there is a warrant out for her arrest in Texas (extradition in TX only) saying that she missed a court date. They also told her that she was not allowed to leave the state at all according to them, but she got permission and an order from the judge saying otherwise. They got on the phone 3 way with her attorney, who said she wasn't aware of any court dates and that she had permission to travel.
She is now worried that the bondsman is going to go to Idaho and take her back to Texas to jail? Is this even possible? I have no idea what the bonds people can do, but told her that I would ask on here for her.
