My question involves workers compensation law for the state of:
Employee vouchers where made available. There were no limitations mentioned in contract or internal website.
After a year I have received a letter :
[...] you made use of our employee discount program. Unfortunately this program is only for employees and not for contractors who are not on our payroll.
Besides using employee discount through voucher you have seriously exceeded the maximum amount discount per year which is an abuse of the benefits available for our employees. Therefore we send you this invoice to claim back your undeserved received discounts. [...] We would appreciate if you make sure this money will be transferred to our bank account.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this case. What could happen in case no payment is made? I would like to dispute the letter I have received but do not have enough knowledge in the EU law in order to give strong arguments. Please help me
