This is all extremely good advice. I have spoken with a victim/witness advocate who was assigned to my case as well as the local domestic violence shelter. They helped get me in contact with a lawyer to help me with victim compensation. I've been working with them and seeing a counselor to help me through all of this craziness. I've never been in an abusive relationship like this before so it's all so new to me. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! I could just hug you all for the support and the great information. Thank you again!!
