I'm going to disagree with Brendan. I don't think it's a "sure thing". The problem is that the camera ticket still gets listed as a violation of RCW 46.61.055 -- NOT some parking regulation -- and that IS a "moving violation". So, even though it is not reported to insurance companies or employers, it is still part of your DOL record. When the deferral period is up, some clerk SHOULD (whether this actually happens or not is a matter of conjecture) pull your record and examine it. So, now the question is: does the camera ticket matter? I'm not sure. And, it might vary by court.

OP, you could call the clerk of the court and pose your question to them.
There is a note on the ticket that says: "This infraction will not be a part of your driving record and will be processed as a parking infraction." Does that make a difference?
