Help with Minnesota Emancipation

I live in Minnesota, and Unfortunately I cannot find clear enough information regarding the emancipation laws. I know I am turning 18 in less than a year but my home life is just too unstable.

My mother yells constantly, threatens, and has hit me before. I have considered changing custody to my father but that may not be possible because he is a truck driver. Also that would take me away from my school of choice. My home life has gotten bad enough with my mother that i have begun to consider suicide as a way out. I fear for myself as well as my younger sister.

I have managed to hold myself together long enough to look for other options. I am getting in touch with a children's advocate in a neighboring county and my simple question is this, would i be a candidate for emancipation? I have a steady, good paying job and I have money to put down on an apartment if given the chance.

If you can support yourself 100% you are a canidate

I've got money and a job thats willing to give me the hours i need so supporting myself shouldn't be a problem. My dad says he'd help if needed but I don't want to just rely on him, my mom took so much from him already.

Reread what I wrote you must be 100% self supporting this means no outside help!

Minnesota has no emancipation statute, but there is case law suggesting that a minor may emancipate through lawful marriage or through parental consent.
