My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Tennessee

I took out a car title loan with Tennessee Title Loans several months ago, I made the first few payments on time with no problems. Then one morning I hit a deer on the way to work and it caused signifigant damage to the front end of the car. I had no money to have it towed or repaired. I called the Title Loan company and told them where they could find the car so they could take possession of it. The next morning it was gone and I assumed that they had came and got it. It has been a little over a month since then and now I get a call from them saying they never got the car and that they dont come out to pick up vehicles and it was my responsibility to bring it to them. (nowhere in the paper work does it say that). They also told me that I either need to give them 450.00 today or the car or they will file Class E felony charges against me. It is my understanding that they can only do that if someone knowingly takes out a loan with no intentions of ever making payments or giving them the car. I did make a couple of payments, I also tried to tell them where the car was broke down. I also offered to bring them 100.00 today to pay towards it but that wasnt good enough and they wouldnt accept that. I have kept in contact and tried to work something out with them, so can they have me arrested? The original loan was for $500.00 and the outstanding balance is now $950.00.
