But don't you think that violates the right of the person in the picture? What if they don't want their picture on the website?

Are you implying that what these sites do is OK? Why would you defend them?

The one I posted about is hosted in the US and has been since 2009.
But you asked about sites in general so I answered in the general sense. And again, if banned in the US they would just move offshore.

Also a law to outlaw such sites shouldn't be a US law. It should be a global law.
As much as the US likes to try and shove it's ways down everyone else's throats, every country has the right to establish their own laws and some aren't going to care about this issue.

If they hold the copyright, they can send a takedown notice to the website. These notices are only enforceable in the US though so a foreign site can tell them to pound sand.

He is implying no such thing. Just pointing out the difficulties in what you are proposing.

Ok so its been established that nothing can be done. Hopefully they'll pass a law outlawing it. At least if they do that they can keep it out of the US.

Not really, at least not for folks who really want to access it.

Sorry to have busted your balloon but the reality is that the internet is global so it is difficult, if not impossible, to completely remove stuff from it.

OK, what is really going on here with this OP? I don't buy the altruistic motive for the post. And that website is full of hard core pornography. But it seems that it is an hosting website and the owners claim not to be the publishers.

Prime Jail bait .com is neither the producer or provider of images on this site and as such hold no responsibility for images published by third party on this site. Images not found to be in compliance with 18 USCS 2257, will be removed immediately upon notification of infringing content, and the responsible parties reported to the NCMEC, in compliance with 18 USCS 2258A.
I would suspect that they have, as a condition of uploading content, a release stating that the age of the people depicted are 18 or older. Otherwise, they would be prosecuted.

I suspect that this thread is a fishing expedition by someone involved in the website.

Actually your assumptions are wrong. I haven't been on the website. I've been on the site Image FAP and reported a user who was uploading pictures with the logo and url to prime jailbait posted on the pictures. Thats how I discovered the site. I only did a who-is search and read about in hackivist forum. The pictures were non-pornographic (cheerleaders, sports teams, ect) but appeared to involve underage girls.

    Let's put this another way.

How on earth are you going to convince Google et al to remove the cached pages?

    Bueller?

    Anybody?

You DO realize that the vast majority of these sites are using photos of adults dressed to appear younger, right?

I believe budwad hit the nail on the head.

Not really. The pictures I saw on Image FAP that had the prime jailbait logo on them looked like minors. Its not that hard to tell the difference between a minor and an adult. Plus in some of the pictures, they were wearing cheerleading shirts with the letters HS (obviously referring to high school).

Hey, Dillon, why did you lie about this site and the discussion in this thread on sitejabber? Are you trying to get yourself sued?
