Thank for your reply. There is so much involved that I really have no idea and will just have to wait. From what I am understanding the lawyer is trying to get all of the past and present charges to run together. He also said not to get hopes up for bond. He has not been transferred to the other county because he did not bond out knowing there is a hold. There is a bond for new charge its the just the hold from the other county is what is holding him cause he knows he will be transferred. I guess I am just wondering what the worst case may be for him but the lawyer cannot answer that so Im sure noone else can. I see so many people that are in and out of jail and never do any time on more serious charges. He has never done time so i was just curious what we may be facing. Time will tell i guess i just thought maybe this website would be able to help. If he did the crime this is just part of the process and we will all wait and see. Thanks again

And another question would be if he originally was facing 5 years ( chose drug court instead ) for the previous marijuana charges how much of that time would he do in georgia? Just considering if he did get his original time. Since it is a non violant crime and marijuana im just curious thank you
