    Default Trial by Declaration Verdict

My question involves traffic court in the State of: Santa Clara County, CA

    Hi everyone,

I received my result online today and it only gave me very little information about my case. I don't understand the result...
    this is what I see:

    Description: Court Fine
    Case: Close
Please contact the court for payment information Reference payment code 1B
(I sent in a check already)

Does this mean I only have to pay a fine and don't have to go to traffic school and no point deduction?

    Thanks in advance

We cannot look up your case history for you. What you have posted suggests that your case was resolved with an order that you pay a fine. Absent a dismissal, you can expect the DMV to assess points. For more information, contact the court.

You didn't pay the fine already. What you paid was a "bail" which happens to be the amount of the fine. Your bail would be used to pay that.
The court doesn't award points. They don't know anything about that. When you are convicted, the info is sent along to the DMV who is responsible for assigning points. There's a grace period there to let you get in and request a trial de novo if you want.
