My question involves an eviction in the state of: I am in United Kingdom.
My question is a facebook lady friend pinged me a while ago that she got a 6 months holiday visa to come to come to London and she will be in London for 4 weeks. She agreed to spend some time with me in London which she did. I booked a hotel where she stayed for about 10 days. she later also stayed with her family friends too but unfortunately she did not like staying with her family friend as the place was not conducive. . I eventually housed her in my empty flat which I was a about to sell. I told her that she will have to vacate when I complete the sell of the property. I didn't think this will be a problem as I also believe that she will be going back to Africa after her holiday. Unknowing to me she wanted to over stay in London. We had a good relationship (including sexual) at the beginning of her holiday but our friendship was strained as she stay longer than I had expected and also I could not continue to spend money on her during her stay in london. Now my solicitor have instructed me that the seller are willing to go ahead with completion of the sale. This girl has told me that I would have to kick her out or else she will not leave. Please can I kick her out. Can I change the lock of the house? What is my legal position here. she is still on a six months holiday visa in UK.
