Default Getting Another Visa and Working Without Authorization

Hi! I am kris and I am in j1 visa and it was expired last march 10, 2014. I am not subject to section 212(e) in my visa and ds2019. Is there any way that I could get another visa? If not, will I be able to work here in the US with an illegal status and get a driver's liscence or any i.d? Thanks!

Do you really need to ask if you can work while you're out of status?

    Seriously?

I can say "no" in about 50 languages. If you wish, I can start with a few basics.

Don't be so sarcastic.. that's why there is forum to ask or to make sure of things. I can see a lot of illegal people here that are working and paying taxes and sss. I just wanna know how they do that! Thanks anyway for the reply.. I still appreciate it. God bless you!

Why have you not addressed the expiration of your J1status with your sponsor.

It is in your best interest to go home before incurring a multi-year ban from entry.

For a situation like yours, there is, I suspect, no smart way of getting around the need to consult with one (or more) immigration attorney(s), because: (1) your ability to remain in the U.S. will depend on many, many factors; and (2) time is of the essence (you could tart accumulating unlawful status, which would make things harder for you in the future).

I can assure you, those individuals who are working illegally did not get instructions in how to do so from us. Nor will you.
