My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Arkansas
My husband has sole custody of his daughter. Mother has visits. She contacted CPS stating my step daughter was being sexually assaulted by my children. My son is 9 my daughter is 7. My step daughter is 6 will be 7 in October. CPS did an interview at the home that I gave consent to. We recorded conversation with the case worker. She said that everything seems fine ,the children were fine, and my step daughter seemed to be lying. The day of final custody hearing to get sole cusrody, at this point he had temporary custody, the mother took step daughter for a forensic interview. Neither she or CPS contacted him. The new caseworker has not talked to us but to say we aren't protecting her when even a medical exam showed nothing. Step daughter informed them of our house rule of no un supervised coplay, separate beds and separate baths . Did The caseworker illegally get interview by going to non custodial mother and then requesting exam without my husband's consent? She was already informed by the courts she couldn't make decisions like that without his permission as well. I find it strange enough it was on the day of the final hearing. Not to mention the step daughter told them of prior sexual situations with a young relative before she ever met my kids and her mother openly had sex while she was in the room. That was disregarded.
