My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: TEXAS
I was pulled over for running a stop sign late in the evening. I was confused as to where I actually ran the stop sign as I did not recall doing that. The officer never indicated where I ran it and continuously said, "Down the street back by the school". There were many intersections by the school. After receiving the ticket it had TWO intersections on it? The first was on the street that I was driving on, so I drove back to the intersection indicated and there is NO stop sign at that intersection. The second is an intersection two blocks away and I was never on that road. I am happy to pay a fine for running a stop sign and had there been one there I would pay the ticket. But, in this situation should I just roll over and pay the ticket...even though 1) There is no stop sign at the first indicated intersection and 2) I was never on the other indicated intersection? I apprecate in advance any help you may provide.
