Default Employer Refuses to Reimburse Employee Fully for Required Health Tests

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: IL

My employer requires me to have a 2-step TB test, which I did. Each injection and reading was $28. They are only offering to reimburse 50% of the cost.

Are they required to pay the full amount for a test they require?

    Thank you.

Does the requirement originate with your employer, or is it required by state law that all employees who hold this position must have the test?

It is a requirement of anyone in the health care field; the employer mandated the two-step test. So, both would be my answer

If it's a requirement of the state, the employer is not required to pay for it at all.
