Default Can a Teenager Run Away to Live With Her Boyfriend, in Texas

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Texas.
I am 17, turning 18 in May, and my girlfriend is also 17, turning 18 in September. My girlfriend lives with her mother and her mother's boyfriend. Her mother is an alcoholic that is physically and emotionally abusive. About 4 months ago my girlfriends little sister was also living with them until CPS sent her back to her dad's. My girlfriend was also sent to live with her aunt on the other side of town. Her mother was arrested that night for public intoxication. My girlfriend moved back to her mother's after a month because we were convinced she had changed. The drinking started back up and her mother's boyfriend broke up with her. The drinking has gotten worse and made it an unbearable home to live in. I live with my grandpa and work for his business full time. I need to know if my girlfriend could move in with me without any conflict from the mother and if I have enough evidence for a court case. Any information is greatly appreciated.

The court is NEVER going to allow a 17 year old child to go shack up with her teenage boyfriend. If she's continuing to be abused, tell her to call CPS, the police or her school counselor. They can arrange for her to be in foster care until she reaches the age of majority.

She can move out without permission when she is 18, and not before. Until then, either she lives with her mother or she calls CPS, who will investigate and see if she needs to be removed from the home. If she does, then she will be placed in an appropriate location. You may rest assured that it will not be with you.
