My question involves criminal law for the state of: ohio
Yesterday I got pulled over for my registration being expired, totally forgot to renew. My fault... But the cop said she smelled marijuana, I smoked before I drove so it qas me that smelled, I tried to deny the search because I had nothing on me. She searched my car anyways... She didn't find any weed or pipes or anything, but my friend had left his book bag in my car which had a grinder and 4 unopened natty lites in it. She gave me a citation for the grinder but it didn't say I was summoned.. But I was summoned for the 4 beers because I am 19.
My first question is, what will my fines for the grinder be in brunswicks mayor court?
My second. How serious is the underage possession of alcohol and how expensive is the fine, court, ect.?
