My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA
I was cited for speeding in excess of 65 -- 22349(a)vc -- and was supposedly clocked using Lidar. In looking at the citation after the fact, I noted that my address was incorrectly recorded and I was also incorrectly listed as the registered owner of the vehicle. Since the officer must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I was speeding, can I use these errors on the citation to create reasonable doubt that he properly used the lidar to clock my speed?
Thank you!
