    Default Military Criminal Records

My husband was court martialed and found guilty of felony theft in a military court in Texas a few years back. He served a couple months in a military jail and was discharged. My question is if his conviction shows up on a civilian criminal background check or do military records stay with the military?

    Default Criminal Record

His criminal record would be a public record. Whether or not it would be detected in a background check depends upon how complete a check is performed, but it would show up in a full criminal history check.
