My question involves restraining orders in the State of: New Jersey
About a year ago I received a restraining order against my father. After the court hearing, the Judge had given me 15 minutes to take all my possessions out of the house. During that stressful time I forgot to take one of the most important possessions with me which include my Citizenship Certificate, Naturalization Certificate, Alien Registration Card, and Medical Records. I understand that I am not allowed to go and ask him for the records or even allowed to ask someone else to go retrieve them for me. I was hoping someone could guide me through the process of getting my personal records back after being granted a Full-Restraining Order (FRO) almost a full year later. I also currently live in another state hundreds of miles away from NJ.
Thank you,
