My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Iowa (now residing in Missouri)

Hi everybody, I have a question that I've been trying to figure out for the longest time...

In 2005, I was charged with Harassment in the 1st degree at the age of 12.
EDIT: It was a Class B Misdemeanor as well.

I went through an Informal Adjustment Agreement.

I completed everything that was required of me (including checking in with a probation officer, and completing community service).

I'm now going to school to be a teacher, and was wondering if this would show up on my background check? I remember being fingerprinted at the police station and I heard that those never went away. So I'm assuming that those will show up, but will their be a charge next to it? Or will employers know that I was convicted of something since I'm in the database?

EDIT: I'm also applying for my substitute teaching certificate at the moment as well, and it asks, "Have you ever been charged with, convicted or entered a plea, including a plea of nolo contendere, to any felony or misdemeanor whether or not sentence was imposed or suspended, except minor traffic violations? If yes, explain fully."

Will I need to include this on there?

Thanks in advance for the help!
