Post Former Supervisor Making False Statements

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: dc
I resigned my position 6 weeks ago, now my former employer is accusing me of sexual harassment that allegedly happened when I was there.
    Btw i am a girl.
My former employer is telling other coworkers that I allegedly sexually harassed my supervisor who is a man 20 years my senior.
I think they are crazy my question would be can they do anything against me?

Their use of "allegedly" is clever on their part. If the man did report something, then your ex employer is allowed to tell the truth.

    Professional? Not particularly
    Illegal? I would say "not"

I understand that. They can say whatever they want, my question is can they legally take me to court for the alleged harassment?

This person allegedly made a complaint about me 6 weeks after I left. They are saying they fired me, which i can proof is a lie. As for the harassment, if he feel harassed he never complained about it with me or anyone. Not while i was there. So can he sue me in civil court?

    The employer can't sue, no.

But the alleged victim can try to sue.

Whether or not he'd win, we can't guess. If he can't articulate damages, that won't help him.

Well if he sues me, he sues me. I have nothing. No income or a job or nothing.

    Thanks a bunch!

Honestly I can't see him be successful.
