My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: Wyoming
I went over to my friends apartment building and pulled into a parking spot immediately after someone pulled out of it. I later went outside to find that I had received a citation for parking in a handicapped spot. The parking spot had a painted sign on the pavement, which I did not see pulling into it. It didn't have a vertical handicapped sign though.
In the citation that I was ticketed under states
10.36.270 Handicapped parking
A.
Any person who owns, or is in control of private property may designate one or more spaces reserved for parking places for the handicapped upon such private property. Parking spaces for the handicapped upon private property shall be designated by a sign or signs conforming to the requirements of subsection B of this section.
B.
Signs reserving parking spaces for the handicapped upon private property shall be constructed of durable material, contain the international symbol of accessibility, be no less than twelve inches by eighteen inches in size and be placed above ground level so as to be visible at all times and not be obscured by a vehicle parked in that space
So since it does not have the vertical sign should I go to municipal court and fight the citation or just pay? I have pictures that clearly show that there is no sign in front of the car.
