Exclamation How to Make My Ex- Remove His Property from My Land

My question involves a relationship in the state of: WASHINGTON, THURSTON COUNTY

MY X-PARTNER AND ME WERE TOGETHER FOR 16 YEARS, WE'VE BEEN SPLIT UP SINCE MARCH 2013. WHEN WE WERE SPLITTING UP, WE PUT TOGETHER A LIST OF PROPERTY SEPERATING EVERYTHING BETWEEN US. (ALTHOUGH, THAT WAS BEFORE ALL THE "DRAMA & DESTRUCTION" HE CAUSED).

QUESTION IS THIS- "HOW DO I GET HIM TO COME GET HIS STUFF LEGALLY?" "WITHOUT A LAWYER BECAUSE NO MONEY LEFT"

HE SEEMS TO THINK THAT HE CAN SIT BACK AND WAIT BECAUSE HE HAS NO WAY TO GET STUFF NOR PLACE TO PUT IT. I OWN THE PROPERTY AND HOUSE, AND EVEN THOU IT'S GOING INTO FORECLOSURE HE DOESN'T CARE BECAUSE HIS STUFF IS STORED AND SAFE AND THE FORECLOSURE PROCESS CAN TAKE A LONG TIME.. HE'S ALREADY THROWING A FIT BECAUSE I REFUSE TO GIVE HIM A FEW THINGS THAT WE BOUGHT FOR OUR SON, AND SON USES AT MY HOUSE (I EVEN OFFERED TO SHARE ITEM'S)...

WE HAVE 2 SEMI-TRAILERS, 1 IS 80% FILLED WITH ALL HIS FISH & MISC STUFF, BUT IT ISN'T IN GOOD SHAPE OF A TRAILER (BACK DOORS DON'T LOCK), THE OTHER IS EMPTY AND IT IS IN BETTER SHAPE.. DUE TO FORECLOSURE PROCESS, I NEED TO START PACKING, AND GOING THRU OUR BARN TO MOVE ALL THE KIDS STUFF, AND MISC OUT. I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO START PACKING MY STUFF INTO THE EMPTY TRAILER, HE IS UPSET BECAUSE HE WANTS IT BUT THE OTHER IS ALREADY LOADED WITH HIS STUFF..

I ALSO DON'T WANT TO BE MEAN AND TELL HIM HE HAS TO DO IT IN 1 DAY, OR GET IT ALL WITHIN 30 DAYS BUT I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING.. (TO GET ALL THE STUFF WOULD TAKE AT LEAST A COUPLE DAYS, AND THE STUFF IN BARN ISN'T EVEN SEPERATED YET).. PS- I'D HAVE TO SEPERATE, BASED ON I HAVE A ORDER OF PROTECTION AND HE'S NOT TO BE AROUND ME.

SO NEEDLESS TO SAY- HOW DO I GET HIM TO GET HIS STUFF? ............. HOW LONG DO I GIVE HIM? ............... DO I TELL HIM WHICH TRAILER HE CAN HAVE?
(I DON'T WANT TO BE A "B", BUT I NEED TO START GOING THRU, ORGANIZING, AND PACKING THE KIDS AND MY STUFF SO IT'S NOT A RUSH)

So if you are in foreclosure and packing to move then just move and leave his stuff behind and let him deal with the bank over it.

From what I have come across, it seems if I leave, or there's any question to what happened to his stuff it comes back on me for not taking care of it.. Which seems wrong on so many levels... Shoot, my kids say almost the same thing as you just did "Put dad's stuff all in with his fish S in the trailer" "We need the good one to lock our stuff up in till we move, and if he doesn't get by then oh well"....
I'd rather just be nice, and try to follow any laws thier might be about it.. Besides, we bought it together and it is worth a lot of money, so I don't want it to just go "left behind"...

Send him a letter letting him know when you are vacating the premises, and that he should remove his property by that time. Keep a copy for your records.
