Can I Get Emancipated?

i am 16 and live in florida with my mother.my mother wont take care of me i have to buy anything i need and she makes me watch my verry young sibblings because she says i cant stay with her for free.i am stressed out,in school i cant concentrate she yells at me when she is mad at someone else.when i was 12 she tried to give me up for adoption for something that i didnt do but didnt because the social worker told her if she gives me up she would have to give my brother up too .she threatens to put me in the hospital and .she wont let me get a job because i have bad grades and she dosent want me leaving the house.it is my junior year in high school and i will be 17 when i graduate and will still be legally hers and plan on joining the military.am i eligible for emancipation?and if i am can she be forced to allow me get a job?and i dont have a drivers permit,will i still have to wait untill im 18?

Although your situtation is clearly sad that is not the requirement for emancepaton. If your state even offers it you must be self supporting and your not not mention I believe yo may be too young. If your Mother is abusive you can call child protective services and I dont believe you mentioned your Father is he an option?

Also the parents have to initiate the procedure in Florida.
