I'm a student (male) at a college in Michigan. Last weekend I went across to one of my friends (female) apartments and her roommate and roomate's sister started hitting me for no apparent reason, other than they had been drinking. I didn't do anything at the time, but about 1/2 hr later I got mad and went outside and busted the mirrors off her car.

Saturday, the State police came over and arrested me. I admitted to doing it and even wrote out an "apology" letter to the girl for what I had done.

Call me stupid, but I'm honest.

So it looked like they were going to cover this under the Holmes Youthful Training Act but now I found out the damage is over $1000 and I might be looking at a felony charge.

I tried to file Assult charges against the girls but the prosecutor refused, saying it was retalitory.

The only thing against me in the past was an MIP last year that was expunged.

How are my chances?
