What is the Punishment for Misdemeanor Embezzlement

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

I have been contacting some attorneys and I have gotten several options and overwhelming amount of infos over the phone. My court date is set up on middle May and I am in need of help in legal questions.

1. What would be possible punishments against me?, charged with misdemeanor embezzlement under $150. (first time being ever)

2. Would there be away for me to remove my charge by any programs or perhaps?

How much did you embezzle? If it is under $50 you might get it reduced to an infraction ($250 fine and no criminal record). Otherwise you're looking at 6 months and $1000. You need a lawyer. Pick one of those you've been trying to extract free information out of and pay him to represent you.
