Can I Run Away to Live With My Stepsister

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Maryland
Ok so i dont know if i am in the right place to post this but can someone please help me?.
so i am a 16 year old male and i dont know if it is legal to run away from my home and move in with my step sister. I need to know because i cant stand my family no more. I have been kicked out once and my mom threatened me that if i went with my real dad or aunts house she would call the cops. i am always being put down and my mom has asked me to go buy perks (as in the drug) and i refused and i got yelled at. i want to move in with my step sister she turns 21 in a month. i really just cant stand my family anymore. She has caused me to fail 1st semester of school by not letting me go and hides food from me all the time.

So when you called the police and reported her drug usage they said? When you called childrens services and explained your problems they said? The odds are astronomic you would be placed with a 21 year old under any circumstances by the state. You cannot just leave.

I never called the police beacuse i dont want my 3 year old sister to be put into a foster care

Then you have no argument to leave.

If it's not bad enough for your sister to need to be removed from the home, it's not bad enough for you to leave without permission. Which you couldn't legally do, anyway.
