My question involves restraining orders in the State of: CT
I am currently under a restraining order to have no contact by any means with person B. I just lost a small claims case with person B and I am now supposed to start paying them $X every week.
When I mailed the answer document for small claims to person B I waited until the previous restraining order had expired. What I did not know was that they filed a new order on the date the previous one expired.
When we went to court for the new order person B used the envelope I sent the answer document in as evidence that I was sending her threatening letters via the mail.
What do I do? If I send her a check in the mail she can use the envelope and type up a threatening letter and claim that I am in violation of the restraining order. If I do not send money I am in violation of the judgement from small claims.
