Ticket for Making a Right Turn During Restricted Hours

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of:California
After picking up my daughter from her dads I was heading to drop her off at school.I made a right turn on to a street that prohibited right turns from 7-9am.
I immediately got pulled over, there we're police officers waiting they cited me with a 22101d, I live on that street and thats the route I take to come into and leave the city.Also this sign is new I've never seen it before that day I got pulled over. Do I have a chance if I fight the ticket?

Unless the sign has some exception for local traffic, the fact you didn't notice the sign nor the fact that it prohibited you from going where you wanted to go isn't going to get you off.

There are only two systems that have a grace period requirement. That grace period requires the agency operating the device to send warning notices for the first 30 days. And that's only for red light cameras and automated parking enforcement.
