Question Can I Get Emancipated by Claiming Emotional Abuse

I'm sorry if this may be the wrong thread to post on, I am new. I have been looking at ways to get emancipated. My reason being that I have been mentally abused bout my whole life. I was always told my dreams would never come true and I have always been bothered about my weight by my other always nagging about exercise and stuff. I have always been left alone as a young child and I still am due to parents working. But here's the thing. I am a month away from being 16 and we have moved a lot. I have moved at least 7 times in the past 7 or 8 years, but my parents are always wanting to move. Sense I move so often, I am unable to stay at the same level in subjects as all my other piers are. I get all mixed up and stuff.. I have been to a lot of different schools, and they always have their own set up. Though right now I am home schooled but the environment I am in is not very healthy. Constant bickering about weight, always getting put down, and always moving. Oh and along with all that, I am tired of the broken promises. My parents had promised for like years to actually take me to get new cloths (I had to get some from friends when I out grew my stuff). So when my parents never did, I got a good babysitting job. But get this; After I bought my self cloths and I needed, my parents then tried to take me shopping. Now, I do/did need some shirts cause I mainly got winter gear, I told my mother I needed some stuff and now is their chance to actually care for me. She told me no and bought herself stuff instead. I have paid for my $300 phone, and everything else besides for food and shelter. My mom is always in competition with me.

Now, for work. I babysit a lot making an average of $50 per night/session.
I make around $1,000 a month, depending. I would say I make an AVERAGE of $650 a month from babysitting.
It is really steady sense being home schooled gives me more hours than the average teenager.
Phone bill is really cheap along with other things I am prepared to pay for.
My aunt said I am able to live in their room if I pay some kind of rent witch would probably only be $100-$150 a month.
I think I am ready to take on this big step and I know what I am walking into.
Oh and another question...Would there be anyway of doing this behind my parents back? It would save a lot of conflict if I am able to do this on my own.

Please post any opinions....my dads side of the family thinks this is also the best choice for me.

Default Re: Am I Right to Emancipated in Montana

Emancipation is intended to help minors who, through no fault of their own, are in need of the legal ability to get the power turned on in their name, and things like that. Emancipation is and was never intended to help minors leave an unhappy home. If you are being abused, you need to tell someone in authority.

To become emancipated you need to be able to prove to the court that you're able to support yourself completely, and afford to pay full market rent, utilities, insurance, transportation, food, clothing, health insurance, sundry items - all of it.

I do not see you being successful in your petition.
