Motives really aren't the issue. The issue is whether the minor meets the criteria for emancipation as defined by the state, and Kentucky has no emancipation statute.
i was just interested in this.....i knew nothing about emancipation....and nobody will tell me clearly what it is......? i don't like being made fun.....of and it was not a joke.......
Being emancipated means (among other things) that you can support yourself 100%.
If you cannot do that, then the discussion is over.

In your state, wait until you are 18, because THERE IS NO EMANCIPATION STATUTE.

If you are 18 and a high school graduate, then you have reached the age of majority in Kentucky and can live where you want.
