Can You Get Emancipated Based on Emotional Abuse

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Michigan
I am 16 years old. My dad does not provide for me and my mom emotionally abuses me. I would like to be emancipated but the law states that my parents must either agree to it or not support me. My mom supports me in the sense that she provides me with a home and food. Would i be able to get emancipated if with the case of her abusing me emotionally?

You are not even close. A majority of teenagers feel they are abused including my own.

If you are being abused, call Dept of Children and Families or talk to your school counselor

Emancipation means you are already supporting yourself 100%.

- Are you making atleast $1800/month with stable work history?
- Paying for your own food, transportation, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc?

Of course you're not.....
