Hi,
My Current Employer, has sponserd me the visa from India to come and work here. I have signed a agreement saying that i will work for him for 18 months and if i leave them before that, he will be Eligible to claim Damages which includes H1b costs, accomodation and flight costs , marketing costs etc.
He is asking for 8000$. Also He is Harrasing me too much from the time i have informed him that i would be moving. Now he wants a return ticket from me to show to his client that and sort out the Billing issues for them.
I s it legal for him to claim what ever the amount that he says is loss for him just because i signed an agreement
