    Unhappy Quitting Without Notice

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Minnesota and Michigan

I have issues with my former employer, since they have not given me my last paycheck.
They claim that I have not provided them with the 30 days notice which was in the contract
they signed with me.But I have left the job for few of the following reasons:

First let me explain the number of companies involved.

I was employed with company A and the end client was company D.
Between the company A and company D there were two more companies
    involved company B and C.

    Company A ---- B ----- c ------- Company D

My employer is based upon Michigan and I am working in Minnesota.Contract was in accordance with Michigan laws.

Minnesota laws says that I can quit job without any notice period.

Now the reasons for what I have left their job and started working with company B for the same client D:

    1) They have mentioned in the contract and the offer letter that
I will be paid $60,000/year which sounds like a salaried employee
to me. But I was paid hourly.Whatever my employer use to get from
Company B based upon the hours I have worked,my employer use to pay
me 80% of what company B paid to them and kept 20%.This was just told
me over the phone.I have talked to them to correct it or change it but
    they never did.

    2) My project was about to end with the client, inspite of that these guys
never notify me hence breaching one of the clause which says they are
supposed to review the things close to the end of project or annualy.

    3) They use to pay me monthly.First check was mentioned by them to be paid after 45 days of my start
date which came through but the way they issued me rest of pay stubs always confused me;for example
their paystub had a pay period from July 1 to July 31 but actually they were paying me for the
month of June and I have never worked same number of hours every month.

    4) They never paid me relocation which was supposed to be paid as mentioned in the contract if they consider
    me their salaried employee.

    5) Last and the most important thing being a woman, during marketing and while working with them one of their
recruiter was assigned to me for all the marketing and other job related work. This guy has made inappropriate remarks about my
skin, marriage, pregnancy and other personal life stuff.I have complained about him to the boss, but this guy
started disturbing me over the phone now by calling me during non-working hours and weekends.

These all situations made me quit their job.

    Steps taken so far:

I have filed a claim through labor department.

Question: Would they be able to make me liable for the amount which they can ask if I have breached their contact?

I would appreciate your response. Thanks!!!!

In every state you can quit without notice under the law. In no state are you guaranteed that there cannot be repercussions from doing so.

Does your contract say that it is void if any of these conditions exist?

The contract does says if either of the two parties are not in accordance with any of the clause it is a breach of contract.According to me they have not met the point 2 and point 4 mentioned in my post, these were part of their clauses

You'd better have an attorney versed in Michigan law review the contract in its entirety.
