Post Naturalization Process for My Wife

My wife came to US on fiancé visa in 2004. She was divorced in 2006 and received her 10 year permanent resident card in 2008. We were married in 2009. I am a US citizen and we have two US born children together. We are getting ready to apply for her citizenship now. My question is: does she apply like normal or does she need to apply like she is
married to US citizen or it does not matter? Also will there be any issues since she originally came on fiancé visa and was married to someone else first? Thank you.

The fact that she was married to someone else prior to you is not a factor. Other than that, I really suggest that you use an immigration attorney for this process. It will be a lot smoother.

As far as the naturalization application goes, the only difference that being married to you gives here is that her period of permanent residence is reduced to three years rather than the normal five. As long as their was no fraud involved in the first marriage it should be a non issue. She apparently stayed married long enough and go the conditional green card converted over to a regular one before they split.

If she has no criminal record and all documentation is present it should be easy to file the paperwork herself.
