Default Do You Get Booked When You to to Court for Shoplifting

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Utah
I have court tomorrow for pre-trial on a shoplifting charge from walmart. (Under $40) but I was never formally arrested, just cited (as in I was never taken to the police station and booked) will I be booked tomorrow?

Quite possibly. Understand that the citation IS the arrest. However, they usually will get your fingerprints and photos at the first appearance or just issue you an order to show up to have them done.
